Horseback & Conservation

Green TNHorseback Riding is a very earth friendly activity. Riders truly appreciate the natural environment and wildlife along the trail. Many riders help with conservation by adopting a trail, teaching others to ride, reporting enviro damage, performing mini enviro cleans, never sending a saddle to a landfill, offering manure to local garden growers, reducing, re-using & recycling at home and the stables! Thanks Riders!

Horseback in Tennessee!

Horse PhotoThere is something truly special about the company of a horse. Middle Tennessee offers numerous horseback adventures. Several state parks have stables set up for horseback riding. There are also private stables throughout the state that offer not only rides, but a place to keep your own horse.  Sharon Ralls Lemon once said, "The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit and freedom." It's true! Jack Handy once said, "If you're a cowboy and you're dragging a guy behind your horse, I bet it would really make you mad if you looked back and the guy was reading a magazine." It would! And the Hillbilly Recycler once said, "Not only does a horse keep the grass low, they also fertilize the garden." Also true! Treat yourself to a Tennessee horseback riding adventure. It'll do ya good.
