Our First Enviro-Clean was fairly succesful! We tackled the pond on Bell RD near J. Percy Priest Lake. Although weak on "turn out" we still had a good time and we retrieved 26 bags of garbage and debris! Three truck loads.
What is an "Enviro-Clean"?
Enviro-Clean is just that. People get together and clean up the environment. A small patch of woods, the shoreline on a lake or pond or even a traffic intersection. Its easy! Ussually only takes a couple of hours and we supply bags & gloves. We take pictures before, during and after. And everyone is entered in our "Green Tennessean Registry" as responsible and aware citizens of planet Earth. All you have to do is email us, and I will email you with future dates and details of Enviro-Cleans. Give it a try, you won't be sorry. We try to make it fun! And look forward to sponsors

Litter removal around the lakes is easier in the winter when the water levels are down. We would like to schedule a few in February, March and April before the lake rises.
Weather plays a big roll in these clean ups, things could change so check back.
